Customized Occupational Therapy Services For Your Unique Needs.
I’d love the opportunity to show you why my exceptional service sets me apart from the rest of the field.

Get to Know Me
For the first 7 years of my professional career, I worked exclusively within a well known hospital based eating disorder treatment setting with adolescents and adults. I never imagined that I would have worked in the mental health field while in school (Kean University Class of 2011 & 2015). Life has an interesting way of bringing you exactly where you are meant to be and I truly enjoyed where I ended up! My experience in this setting has helped me to develop a specialized niche area of practice with individuals diagnosed with ARFID and other "atypical" eating disorders that may be complicated by traumatic experiences related to food (i.e. emetophobia/the fear of vomiting, fear of choking, etc), "picky" eating and sensory based food issues. In addition, I enjoyed helping individuals address common issues faced by those struggling with mental health concerns - poor stress management, lack of occupational balance, dysfunctional habits/roles/routines, impairments in leisure planning/pursuits, self esteem/body image issues, deficits in sensory modulation and more.
Following the birth of my first child in 2021, I decided to transition to pediatric practice and provided in-home early intervention services for children ages 0-3 that were struggling to meet their developmental milestones. I have a passion for working with families and their children to help reach meaningful goals.
After giving birth to my second child in late 2022, I have decided to focus on providing private sessions only. Due to my unique background, I continue to provide services for children, adolescents and adults struggling with eating issues as well as family centered pediatric care. All goals are client/family centered and my services are built around your unique needs.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our 2 boys, our 3 dogs and our extended family.
Professional Services
With my skills and expertise as a licensed and board certified Occupational Therapist, I have developed some core services over the years. If you’re looking for something more specific or specialized, please get in touch to discuss how I can help you. My services are never "cookie cutter" and can be customized to your needs.

Eating Disorders/ARFID
Occupational therapists provide a unique contribution to eating disorder treatment and recovery. Experience in this specialized area is very rare but I have enjoyed working with this population for a majority of my clinical career. I spent just about 7 years working for one of the most well known eating disorder treatment centers in New Jersey, restructuring their occupational therapy program to ensure the adolescent and adult clients received well rounded care with the addition of OT services. I have received training in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS; Kay Toomey) approach to feeding, allowing me to utilize an SOS informed approach in my treatment methods. By exploring the many elements of an eating disorder (medical/anatomical, mental/emotional, sensory processing, etc.), you can rest assured that a comprehensive evaluation and treatment is provided. I treat functional impairments related to the following diagnoses: Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder (BED) & Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorder (OSFED) HOWEVER, you do not need a diagnosis to receive services. Since eating disorders do not discriminate, I work with all ages, genders, races, etc. If you are not satisfied with your relationship with food, contact me!

Pediatric Services
It is my primary goal to ensure that children can successfully engage in their daily activities. From the basics of feeding/eating, dressing and bathing to play & socialization. Whether it's fine motor skills, sensory processing, developmental delays or a combination of multiple things causing absent or decreased engagement, I create a customized treatment plan to help read the child/family's goals.

Wellness
Occupational therapists are trained specifically in task analysis, making them ideal to assist in lifestyle modifications. Whether you are struggling with feeling satisfied in your daily life due to a mental health condition or just general stressors & responsibilities, I can help you to explore and create a realistic plan that supports the vision of what your day to day life could be. Support and skill building in lifestyle modifications such as time management, lifestyle balance, employment pursuits, leisure participation, effective management of health conditions/wellness practices & more!
